Inzwischen hat sich ein Fremder bei ihnen breit gemacht und zwingt ihm ein ungewohntes Leben auf. Seine Mutter ist schwanger. Zunächst freut er sich. Das Neugeborene empfängt er feierlich mit einer Girlande. Aber bald spürt er, dass die „halbe Schwester“ seiner Mutter scheinbar mehr bedeutet als er. Neid und Eifersucht beherrschen ihn und treiben ihn in seine „Höhle“. Auf der Flucht vor dem erdrückenden Alltag findet er in Fede einen wahren Freund. Schließlich begegnet er Susi, die im Laden ihres Vaters Milch verkauft. Umso bereitwilliger geht er nun seine „Milchstraße“ entlang, um sich von ihr bedienen zu lassen.
Eines Tages dann steht der Vater vor der Tür. Neue Konflikte kündigen sich an, die ihn herausfordern und in der Welt der Erwachsenen ankommen lassen.
