Die Berufstätigkeit zählt heutzutage zu den wichtigsten Aufgaben im Leben eines Menschen. Mit der Ausübung einer Tätigkeit wird Selbstvertrauen, Selbstverwirklichung und Zufriedenheit assoziiert. Jeder Mensch ist bestrebt, einen festen Arbeitsplatz zu finden, sich in seinem Beruf wohl zu fühlen und sich einen Status in der Gesellschaft anzueignen.

Doch was ist, wenn man keine Arbeit hat? Wenn man arbeitslos ist? Wenn man nicht jeden Tag einen Arbeitsplatz aufsuchen kann? Ist man dann schlechter und minderwertiger als andere?
Mit diesem allgegenwärtigen Thema soll sich meine Hausarbeit auseinandersetzen: die Arbeitslosigkeit.

In einer Marktwirtschaft ist die Arbeitslosigkeit immer wieder der Schwachpunkt, der durch die wirtschaftliche Lage, die sich durch Angebot und Nachfrage bestimmt, hervorgerufen wird. Im Folgenden möchte ich einige Schwerpunkte zu diesem Thema setzen. Ich möchte unter anderem darauf eingehen, was Arbeitslosigkeit im Allgemeinen bedeutet. Welche Formen der Arbeitslosigkeit gibt es? Wo liegen die Ursachen für die Arbeitslosigkeit in einer Wirtschaft?
Welche gesellschaftlichen Folgen ergeben sich für den Betroffenen und was kann der Arbeitslose tun, um wieder zurück ins Berufsleben zu finden?
