Projektarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich BWL - Personal und Organisation, Hochschule Niederrhein in Krefeld (König-Personalentwicklung), Veranstaltung: Personalmanagement, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Profiling ist eine sehr interessante Tätigkeit.Eine kurze Abfolge wird im Anschluss beschrieben.Zumeist kamen die Aufträge von Transfergesellschaften. Bei den ersten Profilings war ich die Assistenz von Herrn König, um mich wieder in die Thematik hineinzufinden. Zu meinen anfänglichen Tätigkeiten zählten die Seminarvorbereitung, die Terminierung mit dem Auftraggeber und die Ablaufplanung der gesamten zwei Tage des Profilingseminars. Für die dann folgenden Profilings war ich allein verantwortlich, da ich diese Tätigkeit auch schon in meinem dreimonatigen Praktikum durchgeführt habe.
Das Profiling ist ein Seminar, das zeitlich ein bis drei Tage dauert. Es findet überwiegend in der Zeit von 9 bis 15.30 Uhr statt. Es waren aber auch zeitliche Verschiebungen möglich und auch oft nötig. Die Zahl der Personen, die am Profiling teilnahmen, war sehr variabel, da es immer auf die Anzahl der Personen ankam, die entlassen werden sollten. Das Profiling fand immer in dem jeweils betroffenen Unternehmen statt. Am Anfang des Profilings fand eine kleine Vorstellungsrunde statt, dies sollte die Atmosphäre auflockern und sie diente auch als indirekte Informationsversorgung für den Profiler, da man dadurch herausfinden kann, welche Leistungsdichte in der Runde herrscht; und man kann eventuell versteckte Fähigkeiten erkennen. Primär stand allerdings die entspannte Atmosphäre im Vordergrund. Im Anschluss bin ich auf Profilingtools eingegangen, die oftmals bei Vorstellungsgesprächen eingesetzt und auch angewendet werden. Da gibt es zum einen verschiedenartige Tests, mit denen z.B. die Organisationsfähigkeit einer Person in einer Gruppe getestet wird. Ein Beispiel dafür ist die Planung einer Weihnachtsfeier. Zu organisieren sind da die Sitzverteilung, Warenbestellung und die Mengen der jeweiligen Bestellungen. Für diese Art Test gibt es aber viele Möglichkeiten. Weitere Tests wären z.B. Konzentrationstests, Übungen fürs Sprachgefühl und Logik-Tests, die das Verständnis von logischen Zusammenhängen abdecken sollen.
Daran anschließend habe ich kurz das Thema „Assessment-Center“ behandelt. Es war bei Herrn König vorher kein Bestandteil des Seminars. Ich war aber der Ansicht, dass die Möglichkeit besteht, dass ein Teilnehmer später einmal an einem Assessment-Center teilnehmen muss. Deshalb bin ich kurz auf die Besonderheiten eines Assessment-Center eingegangen. Was ist überhaupt ein Assessment Center, wie läuft es ab und was sind die Vor-/Nachteile.
