Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Deutsch - Sonstiges, Note: 2,0, Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Rahmen des Seminars "Theodor Storm" haben wir uns mit der Analyse und Interpretation der Novelle "Immensee" beschäftigt. Die Novelle beschreibt die Veränderung der Beziehung zwischen Elisabeth und Reinhard, die seit ihrer jungen Kindheit befreundet sind. Während Reinhards Abwesenheit zur Studienzeit heiratet Elisabeth als junge Frau dessen Freund Erich. Es kommt später nur noch ein Mal zu einem Zusammentreffen zwischen Elisabeth und Reinhard auf Gut Immensee.
Nach erstmaligem Lesen dieser Novelle haben wir den Eindruck von einer dramatischen Beziehungsgeschichte gewonnen, die einen negativen Ausgang findet. Es handelt sich um den Wunsch einer Beziehung der beiden Hauptfiguren, der aus nicht explizit genannten Gründen unerfüllt bleibt.
In unserer Arbeit gehen wir auf verschiedene Aspekte der Erzähltextanalyse ein, die uns zum besseren Verständnis dieser Novelle als hilfreich erscheinen. Hierbei stellt sich die Frage, welche Umstände genau dazu führen, dass es den Hauptfiguren verwehrt bleibt, ein gemeinsames Leben zu führen.
Zunächst werden wir eine Handlungsanalyse aus den Perspektiven der beiden Hauptfiguren Reinhard und Elisabeth vornehmen. Daran schließen wir die Figurenanalysen dieser Figuren an. Im darauf folgenden Teil werden wir in einer Isotopieanalyse näher auf die Beziehung zwischen Reinhard und Elisabeth sowie auf die dargestellten Räume eingehen. Zuletzt vergleichen wir unsere Interpretation der Novelle noch einmal mit einer weiteren, öffentlichen Interpretation sowie mit einer im Seminar "Theodor Storm" interpretierten Kurzgeschichte und reflektieren abschließend unseren ersten Leseeindruck.
Abschließend ist darauf hinzuweisen, dass in dieser Hausarbeit mit dem Reclam-Heft “Immensee und andere Novellen“ von Theodor Storm (siehe Literaturverzeichnis S.17) gearbeitet wurde und Zitate nur durch entsprechende Seitenangaben kenntlich gemacht wurden.
