(Anmerkung der Autorin: Mir ist bewusst, dass viele, durchaus zu Recht, die Bezeichnung "Transe" als abwertend empfinden und deshalb nicht gerne sehen, wenn sie verwendet wird. Im vorliegenden Buch passiert genau das an einigen Stellen, allerdings aus gutem Grund. Ich versuche mich beim Schreiben, insbesondere bei Dialogen oder Gedankengängen der Protagonisten, in sie einzufühlen und ihr jeweiliges Befinden oder ihre Persönlichkeit auch in dem  auszudrücken, was sie denken oder sagen. Und meiner persönlichen Erfahrung nach denkt man häufig genug anders, als man sich - und sei es nur aus Gründen der 'political correctness' - verbal äußert. Wenn also im vorliegenden Buch das oben angeführte Wort verwendet wird, geschieht das nicht abwertend, oder um transsexuelle Menschen zu verunglimpfen. Ich habe mir jedes einzelne Mal die Entscheidung nicht einfach gemacht und bitte daher um Nachsicht!)
